What We Believe John 3:16--For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosover believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Salvation is received as a free gift of God made available by the death of Christ Jesus on the cross, who died for our sins and rose from the grave on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven. One must understand that everyone sins and is separated from God apart from the accepting of His Gift. One must turn from sin, ask and accept forgiveness from God through Jesus' sacrifice...confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and they will be saved.
The Plan of Salvation: Romans 5:18--Therefore as by the offense of one man, judgement came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. "NO MAN HAS A RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD" Romans 3:10--As it is written, There is none righteous [right with God], no, not one. "EVERY MAN HAS BROKEN GOD'S LAW, AND FALLS SHORT OF WHAT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER HEAVEN." Romans 3:23--For all have sinned [broken God's law], and come short of the glory [honor/Heaven] of God. "BUT GOD SHOWING HIS LOVE FOR US, EVEN THOUGH WE ARE CONDEMNED, CAME TO EARTH IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST JESUS TO TAKE OUR PENALTY; BY BEING MOCKED, BEAT, SPIT ON, AND TORTURED TO DEATH ON THE CROSS." Romans 5:8--But God commendeth [showed] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. "GOD THROUGH HIS GREAT LOVE AND SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS, HAS GIVEN US THE CHOICE: HEAVEN OR HELL?" Romans 6:23--For the wages of sin [breaking God's law] is death [Hell]; but the gift of God is eternal life [Heaven] through Jesus Christ our Lord. "GOD PROMISES THAT IF WE WILL CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT CHRIST JESUS IS OUR LORD, AND BELIEVE IN OUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD WE WILL BE SAVED." Romans 10:9--That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. "GOD PROMISES THAT ANYONE THAT CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." Romans 10:13--For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [Christ Jesus] shall be saved. |
